Founded in 1981, Anchor Pump has been supplying Quality Products to Industrial Customers with an emphasis on service. In 2006, we acquired Kriebel Engineered Equipment to increase our customer base, expertise, and product offering. In 2009, we added Pumping Equipment Company (PECO) in NJ to our growing firm. Finally, in 2018, we added F.T. Thomas Pump to the group. We now offer the largest, most experienced field sales team in our market of PA, NJ, Metropolitan NY, DE and parts of WV. In July of 2018, we became part of INSCO Group, a division of Flow Control Group.

Anchor Pump is dedicated to providing service you will appreciate. We have increased staffing, doubled our inventory, moved to a new centrally located warehouse, and computerized all of our operations. Through our commitment, experience, and expertise, Anchor Pump strives to establish a business relationship with our customers that will be mutually beneficial.

Anchor Pump distributes Peerless Pumps, Grundfos, as well as many other Industrial Pumps,Variable Frequency Drives, Seals, and Related Engineered Equipment. We provide service and also conduct training seminars throughout the year.

Meet Our Team:

Aaron Colwes

Aaron joined the Anchor team back in 2018 when Anchor Pump acquired F.T. Thomas Pump & Supply in Pittsburgh PA. F.T. Thomas Pump has been providing sales and service in Western PA and West Virginia since 1940 . After graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2003 with degrees in Biology and General Science, Aaron taught Science at a local High School in Pittsburgh for 7 years, before joining F.T. Thomas pump in 2011. Aaron’s Dad, Dean Colwes, was the owner of F.T. Thomas Pump until he retired in 2018. Aaron started his pump career in the service dept., and then quickly jumped into sales, and now manages the F.T. Thomas Branch of Anchor Sales Associates. His ability to specify problem solving solutions to difficult applications is a valuable asset to our sales team.

Mike Shafer

Mike joined Anchor Pump in June of 2017 as Service Manager. Mike has been working on industrial equipment for over 30 years and brings extensive pump knowledge to Anchor Pump.  He will supervise pump repairs in our new shop as well as perform installations, repairs, alignments, and preventative maintenance at customer sites.  Mike grew up in and still lives in Bucks County, PA with his wife and two sons.  Mike enjoys fixing cars and hunting in his spare time.

Bob Talia

Bob Joined Anchor Sales in April of 2011. He provides sales and technical support to Northern New Jersey, the southern counties of New York State as well as the 5 boroughs of New York City. Bob brings a very successful sales history to Anchor mostly in a Chemical Specialty technical sales capacity. Bob’s sales efforts have assisted major manufacturers of paints, coatings, inks adhesives, plastics and personal care in new product formulations and enhancements. Bob’s educational background was strongly rooted in the Biology and Chemistry fields and he plans to pursue his MBA once he successfully expands and supports sales for Anchor Sales in his territory. Bob is also our product manager for Wastech Controls and Engineering and has become our water treatment expert.

Devin Haviland

Devin joined Anchor Sales in August of 2010. His primary focus is sizing and quoting Variable Frequency Drives as well as customer service for pumps and parts. Devin has years of motor, VFD, alignment and vibration experience having worked for local motor shops in both sales and service. In addition to going to school for learning computer networking systems in his spare time, Devin repairs computers and spends time with his family.

Steve Roberts

Steve joined Anchor Pump in July of 2017 as south-central PA Regional Manager. Steve has 15 years of industrial product sales experience in and around the York, PA area. He will service Anchor’s existing customers in his territory as well as introduce our complete product line to new industrial businesses and engineering firms. He attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Lebanon Valley College where he played football and ran track in his spare time. Steve lives in the York, PA area with his wife and three daughters. Steve and his wife are active members of the York Area Down Syndrome Association. Steve also enjoys hunting, fishing, and traveling with his family.

Mike Johnson

A resident of Doylestown, PA, Mike has been with Anchor Pump since March of 2017. His work ethic and positive interactions with customers has made him an asset to the Anchor Pump team. Mike is skilled in serving customers and is always ready with a solution to any complaint. He makes it a point to be as available to Anchor Pump customers as possible, and does so day in and day out. Outside of Anchor Pump, Mike is a personal trainer who focuses on positive lifestyle changes.

Tim Shafer - Shop Manager

Tim joined Anchor pump in May of 2018 as a pump mechanic. Tim has been working in the pump and industrial field since coming out of high school with 35 years’ experience. Starting with submersible and water booster pumps, Tim progressed to industrial and sanitary pumps then on to Fire truck pumps. Tim has extensive mechanical skills and life experiences that make him an excellent troubleshooter either with mechanical or electrical issues. Tim coordinates and completes the shop evaluations and repairs here at Anchor. Tim grew up in Bucks County and currently resides in Montgomery County with his wife and 2 daughters. Tim enjoys restoring antique equipment as well as hunting in his spare time.

Rob Bubeck

Raised here in the Delaware Valley, Rob came to the team in 1994 fresh out of West Virginia University. Now as the office and inside application engineering manager, Rob offers solutions and answers to customers’ needs and coordinates activities between customers and our outside sales force. Rob received a B.S.I.E. from W.V.U. and is putting his Eagle Scout rank back to work as an active leader in his local Boy Scout troop.
